Sydney was selected to give a flash talk and poster on her project “Antagonistic Bacterial Interactions Shape the Composition of the Cystic Fibrosis Lung Microbiota”. In this paper, Sydney described the work she has been doing in the lab to study antagonistic interactions between members of the cystic fibrosis lung microbiota. This was Sydney’s first presentation! She did an amazing job and was awarded 1st Place for Best Undergraduate Student Abstract!

Congrats Sydney! We are proud of you!
