Niladri presented a poster titled “Identification of Secondary Metabolites and Biosynthetic Gene Clusters from Cystic Fibrosis Microbiomes” at the annual Oklahoma Center of Respiratory and Infectious Diseases (OCRID) research symposium. Niladri’s poster provided an overview of the project’s background and shared preliminary data on co-cultures between commensal bacteria and cystic fibrosis pathogens, as well as initial attempts at isolating bioactive metabolites from these bacteria. This was Niladri’s first presentation as a member of the Stubbendieck Lab! Congratulations!
